The workshop is over.
I had a really great time with our teacher Massimo and the other guys.
The introductory part, during the first half of the workshop, has been very interesting, because we had the chance to discover many of the uses of the RFID technology. Amazing and sometimes scary applications.
Then, in the afternoon, after lunch, I used the RFID tags and the Reader to build an X Rays machine to look inside bodies, or objects. Quite stupid but fun, at least for me :)
Una volta tornato a casa, dopo il workshop, ho trovato questo articolo su Focus Magazine.
Dice che in Francia stanno sperimentando un sistema per capire quando le pecore (o mucche) sono in calore.
Le pecore femmine sono state dotate di un chip di identità (cosi' dice l'articolo, ma è probabile che si tratti di un RFID tag, almeno alla luce di quanto ho appreso durante il workshop). Mentre le pecore maschio sono state dotate con un lettore elettronico (un Reader quindi).
In questo modo, dicono che si è in grado di capire con quale partner si accoppia quale pecora.
