> Remo Ricchetti earns his Degree in Mechanical Engineering consequently to an accidental meeting (when he was an Aerospatial Engineering student) with the study of Material Science and Engineering, and the participation in a mobile robot contest called by Scuola Superiore S.Anna in Pisa. His robot distinguished itself from other participants due to a non-conventional material choice and because of its extreme mobility performances. Since then, his projects lead to prestational machines, non-conventional technologies and materials, and robotics.

> As a professional, Remo collaborates with CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) in the design of scientific apparels, he designed a novel device for physiotherapic rehabilitation, in the automotive field he has been dealed with the production of the Volvo C70's automatic foldable roof. Since 2002 he works as Mechanical Designer in the PercRo Lab (Scuola Superiore S.Anna) where he is involved in the design of wearable robotic devices (exoskeletons for human power augmentation), medical devices and tactile actuators. In PercRo Lab he also deals with the research activities of Multisensory Information Transfer in the Enactive Network of Excellence and with an European Integrated Project about virtual communities (Presenccia).

> In Id-Lab, Remo deals with mechanichal and tecnhological items of some projects.
