Classic VJing is a process manipulating video in much same way DJ mixes records. The techniques and equipment vary but the basic principles remain the same (e.g. selecting, cross fading, scratching, cutting and sampling a rhythm). It's exactly about what this workshop is NOT!
> At this workshop we will explore few new forms. We will aim sound reactive systems, man-machine interaction, collective interaction and at very basic level generative systems and artificial computing. We will learn how to code and control reactive systems and how to interact with recipients.
> A basic background in programming and Processing is needed. This workshop is not for absolute beginners, but it’s enough to understand and be skilled in examples they come in Processing distribution package.
> Participants need to take their notebook (PC/MAC) to the workshop. The notebook has to be equipped with microphone (to listen the music) and possibly a video camera/ web cam.
