The first idea was to develop some nice Christmascards for our friends and the people we know...,
At the same time, we were talking about going to Dusseldorf for a short trip...

First thing, Eilean started to read stories about Christmas & New Year.
At the same time she started collecting various materials, ideas... She even made some little models.

The key question was: "How can we produce everything, manual or a machine print and do everything and a supert-tight budget?"
This (and other questions) were discussed once we had a nice dinner all together chatting about Duesseldorf, Britta (Boland, former teacher of Eilean & former art director in Ivrea)...
The dinner was a nice event. Amidst the stress related to the move from Ivrea to Torino & Milano, the difficulties of setting up a
new company... Given all these different elements, we had the idea to go to Dusseldorf for some days to work on our New Year's cards, to see a new place, to meet new people, to get new impressions, to relax, to have fun...

1 + 1 = we decided to go to Duesseldorf
Also, since Eilean studied at the Fachhochschule Duesseldorf, there were all the opportunities to use the workshops, to get help,
to meet interesting & creative students and making things...
